The best exercises for six pack abs.

Lower body workouts provide exercise participants with well defined, lean, tone, strong muscles which provides better balance and coordination in daily activities. The following list will provide you with a few simple exercises to help you achieve lower body tone and strength:

Regular Abdominal Crunches (works all muscles of the mid abdominal region): Lay on the floor on your back with feet on floor and knees toward ceiling. Place your hands, clasped together at the fingers, behind your head to support it. With eyes, nose and chin facing the ceiling, slowly lift and lower your body until your shoulder blades clear the floor. Repeat this for the desired amount of sets and repetitions.

Reverse Abdominal Crunches (works the muscles of the lower abdominal region): Lay on the floor on your back. Place your legs in a 90 or 45 degree angle, hands and arms at either side of your body. Slowly lift and lower your hips from the floor, repeating this motion for the desired amount of sets and repetitions.

Oblique Crossover Crunches (works the muscles on the sides of the abdominal region): Lay on the floor, on your back. Place your hands, with fingers clasped together, behind your head to support it. Slowly lift and twist your body to the opposite side (i.e. right side twist toward the left side and vice versa). Repeat this motion for the desired amount of sets and repetitions.
